Activity holidays in the region of Liptov

The region of Liptov in the north of Central Slovakia has a lot to offer. Every year, it is literally flooded with domestic and foreign tourists, mainly from neighbouring countries. The numbers here are even higher than in Bratislava or the High Tatras.
1. Tatralandia
The fact that the water park guarantees tropical temperatures all year round is not new anymore. But did you know that it has opened two new water slides? This means even more fun! Nobody gets bored here. Come and see for yourself! An experienced team of animators offers various activities and there are many interesting weekend events planned and for free. And if you wish to have a rest away from the summer sun, treat yourself to a spoiling massage or relaxation in the Celtic sauna world.

You won´t hear any noise from neighbouring rooms because the whole cottage is only yours – whether you come with a group of friends or your family. 3. Liptov Arena Tatralandia

There are various scenes such as Minecraft, Star Wars, Ninjago and others. Kids can make buildings of big bricks, race on a slot car track and even try operating robots. The other side of the sports hall is ruled by butterflies. Over 50 species are flying around there and can be observed in various life cycles. The butterfly garden is ideal for nature lovers. It is not difficult to get in contact with this flying beauty because butterflies often land on one´s arm or piece of clothing.
4. Hurricane Factory - Tatralandia
Are you one of those brave souls who don´t know what fear is, like facing adrenalin challenges and can be easily persuaded to jump from a plane? Was it a YES all three times? Then you should definitely try a free fall simulator. All you need is trainers, a T-shirt and courage. The necessary equipment, basic training and a professional instructor will be waiting for you there. Let your kids try how it feels to fly too and spend unforgettable moments together. Are you still hesitating? Keep in mind that this wind tunnel is the one and only in Slovakia and tourists from abroad travel hundreds of kilometres to enjoy it.
