Share your certificate marked with #PiratiTatralandia on Instagram to join the draw with attractive prizes. 2 nights at Holiday Village Tatralandia with unlimited water park access for four people will be the main prize.

This statute of the “Summer pirate contest of Tatralandia” (hereinafter referred to as “Statute”) is the only document that specifies the rules of this contest with binding effect.

Contest organiser

• The “Summer pirate contest of Tatralandia” (hereinafter referred to as “Contest”) is organised by the Tatry mountain resorts, a.s. company with the registered seat at Demänovská Dolina 72, 031 01 Liptovský Mikuláš,
• Company number: 31 560 636, registered in the Commercial register of District court Žilina, Section: Sa, Insertion No.: 62/L (hereinafter referred to as “Organiser”).
• The Contest Organiser specifies these Contest conditions and rules (hereinafter referred to as “Rules”). The aim of the Contest is to support and promote the Tatralandia water park and takes place from 11.7.2022 to 23.8.2022 (until 8:00pm).
• The conditions of participation and the Contest itself are governed only by these Rules, which define the conditions of participation in the Contest. Any change to the Rules and conditions of the Contest made by the Organiser must be done in writing in the form of an addendum.

Conditions of participation in the Contest

• Any natural person younger than 99 years that fulfils the Contest conditions and agrees to participate in the Contest can participate in the Contest. As for children younger than 18 years, the consent has to be given by their legal representatives (hereinafter referred to as “participant(s)”).
• The Contest can be joined by any natural person who is a permanent resident of the Slovak Republic, the Czech Republic or the Polish Republic and shares their certificate marked with #PiratiTatralandia in the “Summer pirate contest of Tatralandia” on Instagram (hereinafter referred to as “participant(s)”.
• Employees of the Contest Organiser and persons who are close to them; employees and persons who are close to employees of individuals that are linked to the Organiser personally or via property relations or who are close to promotion and advertising agencies that perform activities related to the Contest cannot participate in the Contest. Persons mentioned in § 116 Act No. 40/1964 Coll. Civil Code as subsequently amended and persons who share the household with them (§ 115 Act No. 40/1964 Coll. Civil Code as subsequently amended) are considered close persons as far as the Contest is concerned.
• If the Contest is won by a person who has been forbidden to take part, they shall not be given the winning prize. The same applies if the Organiser finds out about or has reasonable suspicion of fraud and/or unfair practises related to a participant or another person that might have helped the respective participant win the prize. If a person who has been forbidden to take part in the Contest has already been given the winning prize, they are obliged to return the prize to the Organiser.
• The Organiser reserves the right to publish or not to publish individual photos with Contest certificates at their sole discretion and to exclude any participant from the Contest in any phase of the Contest if the participant´s behaviour and actions may stain the reputation of the Organiser or affect the rights or legitimate interests of third parties in any way or if they violate this Statute or the Contest rules. The Organiser reserves the right to exclude any participant from the Contest if there is a suspicion of violating this Statute or using practices against the Rules.

Contest duration

The Contest takes place from 11.7.2022 to 23.8.2022 (until 8:00pm) including. The winners are going to be contacted one day after the Contest ends, i.e. on 23.12.2021 until 11:00pm.

Contest rules

• Every participant who downloads the Liptov PLAY app and the Pirates of Tatralandia game to their mobile phone,
• Plays the game while staying at Tatralandia and answers the questions in the app correctly,
• Will receive a game completion certificate to their email address after they complete the game, the game is evaluated and they enter their email address.
• Based on the number of correct answers, every participant can get a Sailor, Corsair or Ruler of the Seas certificate.
• The certificate has to be marked with the #PiratiTatralandia hashtag and shared on Instagram to join the prize draw on 24.8.2022.
• All winners will be contacted by text message, email or by phone.
• If any winner doesn’t answer the message about winning the Contest to the Organiser within 5 working days from the day the message about winning the Contest is sent, the winning prize shall be forfeited to another selected substitute participant.

Winning prizes

• The winning prizes are as follows:

1. prize for the winner drawn from shared “Ruler of the Seas” certificates – 2 nights at the Holiday Village Tatralandia hotel for 4 people, with access to the Tatralandia water park included;
2. prize for the winner drawn from shared “Corsair” certificates – 2x winter Tatralandia and Bešeňová Aqua Season Pass
3. prize for the winner drawn from shared “Sailor” certificates – 4x 1-day Tatralandia Aqua Ticket

• To use the won Tatralandia tickets, the winner must let the water park know at least 2 working days in advance. To use the 1st prize, the winner must book the hotel stay at least 5 days in advance. If there are no rooms available, the requested date doesn’t have to be confirmed and another date shall be offered to the winner.
• If any winner doesn’t use their winning prize until 23.12.2022, the winning prize expires and the prize cannot be claimed legally after that, i.e. the winner is not entitled to be compensated financially or non-financially.
• The contest results are final and cannot be appealed against. Every winning prize is non-transferable, cannot be changed and the winner is not entitled to ask for financial compensation instead of the prize. In accordance with § 845 Act No. 40/1964 Coll. Civil Code, none of the prizes is enforceable through the court.
• The winning prize can be subject to taxation in accordance with Act No. 595/2003 Coll. on Income Tax as subsequently amended. The tax as well as other financial duties that can be related to receiving a winning prize shall be paid by the winner in full amount as defined by the law

Processing of personal data

• During the Contest, personal data of participants are protected by the Organiser in accordance with generally binding legal regulations.
• Details related to the protection of personal data are included in the Data Protection and Privacy Policy of the TMR Group and are published on the website: www.tmr.sk/o-nas/gdpr/.

Special provisions

• The contest Organiser reserves the right to decide about any terms and conditions of the Contest at their own discretion and to limit, postpone, interrupt, amend or cancel the Contest at any time due to specific reasons. The Organiser is not responsible for any technical or programme errors that arise during the contest.

Final provisions

• This Statute takes effect on the day the Contest is publicly announced on the website: www.tatralandia.sk.
• Ignorance of these Contest rules does not entitle anybody to make a complaint and shall not be taken into account.
• By taking part in the Contest, every participant agrees with the Contest Rules. The winning prizes shall not be given to participants who do not agree with these Rules without reservation and do not meet all conditions resulting from these Rules.
• The Contest Organiser hereby declares that Instagram has nothing to do with the Contest, does not organise it, does not promote or sponsor it in any way.
• The Contest Organiser hereby declares that Instagram does not have any obligations to Contest Participants.
• The Rules are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. The Rules are published on: www.tatralandia.sk
